Melrakki. The hidden lord of Iceland

Director: Marta Bretó Lucio

First came arctic foxes, then humans. Whichever end of the shotgun they find themselves at, Iceland's foxes and humans have more in common than they may seem: curiosity, intelligence, strong social systems and a tremendous ability to survive in the harsh conditions of these landscapes. Whether their bonds are forged with love, hate or simply survival, foxes and humans are essentially the same: Icelandic.

Director: Helena Stańczyk

Animated documentary based on voice recordings recorded during the film’s author family meeting.

War is not only great battles, but above all small, everyday skirmishes of millions of people affected by it. Grandma Zosia knows this first hand. With extraordinary distance and a sense of humor, she talks about the difficulties of the wartime and camp reality she experienced as a young girl. The film, apart from outlining the history, primarily presents an extraordinary person with an exceptional character, which is grandma Zosia.
